Topmine.io and HashOcean.com Turned Scam?

Welcome to PhilReviews, today we will gonna be discussing stuffs about the two popular Bitcoin and Altcoin mining program website on the web. HashOcean.com and TopMine.io, this is a hot topic today in the Cloud-Based Bitcoin mining industry, so better check it out before it's too late.

What is HashOcean and TopMine?
Before we proceed, what are these two websites for? They have one thing in common. Both of them claims to be a real cloud based Bitcoin mining corporation with real datacenters around the world. They are also one of the most popular and profitable when it comes to payrates and return on investments. What you need to do to earn on these programs is that you need to deposit an amount of bitcoin to purchase mining power measured in KH/s as a standard. The only difference with the two is that TopMine supports Altcoin, HashOcean mines Altcoins too but they only support the BTC cryptomoney as the standard currency.

Do I Invested There?
Yes, I'm currently under 1 month old and deposited $20.00 worth of BTC also I brought 2 active referrals there that spend $100 in total. I also got paid there once. It's a fast earning compared to others, It took me just a few days to get an automatic payout worth 0.005 from my 85 KH/s mining power. That's why it's very popular and has a good reputation all over the web.

But most people is very doubtful if they will last. Yes they did last, for about a year or more, lucky for those who signup early. Unfortunately, not for me since i'm very new on HashOcean. Here's what happened.

HashOcean is Down Today
Wow, I didn't see that coming huh. If you try to visit the website, you cannot enter the site. One is that they are offline and is currently showing the CloudFlare's Always Online feature which will serve you the homepage of the website but is unusable. Then after a couple of hours, I came back and still I was slapped by the same notice. The homepage says they are undergoing a 5 minute maintenance but it's already 24 hours now still nothing happened. Then after I slept to rest, again I came back to see what's happening but now an SSL certificate error will welcome you and not the CloudFlare one.  HashOcean a fraud site? No one knows what's currently happening.

TopMine is Offline Too
What? Within the same day? I was very curious as to why all of this is happening. Lucky I didn't invested there but just used their free mining power on Topmine.io. Here's what the homepage is saying, "TopMine 403 Forbidden Error, You do not have permission to access this server".

Now my doubt is leveraging and my mind is like, "what? really? not now!". I did many Google search knowing both these two website are down. I landed on some reviews like saying HashOcean is scam, is hacked and posted as FOR SALE on the internet, is not a real mining company, etc. etc.

Bitcoin Halving
Also known as the "Halvening" or the "Bitcoin reward halving". This info made my mind cleared and also, most miners and bitcoin users points this event as to why Bitcoin mining websites are already closing because they are the one in the frontline which is most affected by the said process. This is already expected. again, I didn't see that one coming.

Better check this infographic from CoinJournal below.

So, is TopMine.io and HashOcean.com really wants to scam people or closed because of the Halvening? As of today, no one knows what's the answer to that. We also don't know if both these websites will come back or run away our hard earned Bitcoin funds. Both sites are legit and paying on time everytime without major issues in the past until everything screwed up.

Critical Updates - June 30, 2016
We received a notification on Facebook from a certain page. HashOcean made a brand new official FB page and announced that the cloud mining website was "hacked" and was posted by the suspect on the web as "for sale". They also updated member that they have a limited email sending capabilities. From the date they gave, they will resume operation on June 30, 2016 (hashocean time), I guess it will be tomorrow, let's see what they can offer on their resume.

Earnings will continue as of their statement, however, we cannot count on this one and can only hope that what they are saying is true and not just another part of a fraud. What we can do is just pray and wait for it to comeback like what everyone's doing. Stop reporting them to authorities for a while and give them few days more.
